A glimpse into the future of sustainable mobility

The Emobility Expo is one of the most important events in the world in the field of sustainable mobility, and this year Valencia has been chosen to host the 2023 edition. The fair brought together experts, companies and enthusiasts from all over the world, more than 500 exhibitors and 50,000 visitors to discuss and showcase the latest advances in the sector.

The expo featured a program of conferences and round tables, where experts in the field of sustainable mobility discussed topics such as the role of electric vehicles in the energy transition, battery innovation, smart charging and shared mobility among others.

One of the main attractions of the fair was the exhibition of electric vehicles, which presented some of the latest models of cars, motorcycles, bicycles and electric scooters; such as Ford, which presented the new 100% electric crossover, considered the precursor of the firm’s new generation of electric vehicles.

In terms of innovations in the field of sustainable mobility, the show featured the voices of numerous startups that presented new forms of public transportation, solutions adapted for people with reduced mobility and numerous proposals for renewable energies (in particular, solar and wind energy).

Along with the above initiatives, the debate on battery energy storage and charging infrastructure played an important role. In this line, we took the opportunity to introduce the MetaLiFe concept, proposing to give a new life to the residual batteries of vehicles and generating “batteries” for use in different mobility concepts.

Además, aprovechamos la ocasión para introducir XION, la nueva plataforma inmersiva que permite la colaboración de equipos para la validación de diseños y revisión de procesos. Una visión eficaz de metaverso que permite dar un paso más en la formación y el desarrollo de los equipos y empresas involucradas en los procesos industriales del sector de la automoción, aeronáutica, ingeniería…

En conclusión, la expo ha sido toda una inspiración para aquellos que buscamos un futuro más limpio y sostenible para todos. Del encuentro, nos llevamos muchos aprendizajes acerca de las nuevas opciones de movilidad y energías sostenibles.
